# How to choose a Custom Click Trigger for popup

A popup form can be triggered to show up by various conditions. In this article, we will guide you on how to choose a custom click trigger for your to popup. The idea is that your popup will show when visitor click on the button whose  element is defined as a trigger in our app.

There are only 3 steps to go. Now, let's get started!


### Step 1.

Go to your website, hover on the element you want to be **the trigger**. Right click and the click on **Inspect. **

### Step 2.

Select the element > Right-click > Copy > **Copy selector**

### Step 3.

Finally, paste your result in the trigger input

**Important note**: If you can not find ID for the element  that you want to be **the trigger**, please remember to add it to the content.
