# How to Use Tags to Organize Campaigns

You can use tags to organize your email campaigns by type, location, and many more. This guide runs through how to tag a campaign.

## Step 1. Create a new campaign

From the dashboard, choose **Campaigns > New campaign**.

## Step 2. Head to the Ready section

Complete the setup for **Template** and **Content**. Click **Next** to access the last step **Ready**. Here, you'll see the **General Information** section:

## Step 3. Add tags

Click the plus icon, and select the tag you want to tag. You can tag the workflow with an existing tag, or create a new one.

The **Manage tags** section also allows you to implement these actions, as well as delete unwanted tags.
