To add Email into workflow, just drag and drop email item from the left column into your workflow at the center.
There are two editor types for emails:
– Drag and Drop
– Rich text editor
This article will guide you on how to edit/build emails content in these two types.
1. Edit email by DRAG and DROP

Email name: Enter email name. This is a required field.

Internal Note (optional): Enter internal note for this email, only admins can see this note.

Email content: Click to “Email Content” to open a new window and edit it in details.

After completing the above information, click on Edit email and select the type as Drag and Drop

From: Select the sender of this email (Sender list is configured at Settings section)

To: Enter the recipient emails. The default value is {{customer_email}}, which allows sending this email to all of your contacts. This is a required field.

Subject: Enter the Subject for this email. This is a required field. To add the variables to the subject, we can do the following
– Click on the subject
– Select an icon as shown in the picture below
- Click the icon
to add the variable
- To add multiple variables, click on the variables then select Insert

To edit email body, drag Row and then Item, Variable…

Support different row styles: Row Full, Row Two, Row Three…

You can also freely edit color, padding of the row at Styles tab.

This app supports many types of Items: Text, Image, Button, Link, Video, Divider

To customize Item components, click on specific items and edit them at Styles or Trails tab.

Button: To set up the button component, go to Traits tab:
+ URL: Enter URL to be opened when clicking on button.
+ Open in: Choose to open that link in a new window or in the current window.

Video: To set up the video component, go to the Traits tab:
– Provider: Select video resource.
– Video ID: Copy video ID and paste it here.

Add Variables

Drag and drop the variable you want into the email body.

You can also do as following to add variables
- Drag the item text and drop it into the email
- Click the icon as shown in the picture and select the variables you want to insert into the email body
Use Template
With drag and drop emails, it is possible to load pre-made emails/templates for easier and quicker editing.
– To load the template:
+ Click Use template
+ Select the email/template you want to load and click the load button

2. Edit email using Rich Text Editor
After dragging and dropping the email into the workflow, click Edit and select Rich text editor
– From: Click to choose a sender for the email
– To: Enter the recipient’s mail address. If you are not sure what to enter, leave the default value
– Subject: Enter the subject of the email. This is a required field. It is possible to insert variables into the content of the subject.
– Click on icon
to display variable values
+ Click the icon
to add the variable
+ To add more variables click on the variable then select Insert
– CC BCC:
– Click and enter the email address you want CC or BCC to come
– Email addresses are separated by a comma.
– Note: do not enter the same email address in BCC and CC
– Reply To: Select the email address to enter customer reply
– Email Content: Enter the content for the email
– After editing the content, click the preview tab to see it displayed
– Use the toolbar above to be able to change the content format of the email
– Click the icon as shown below to be able to view and edit the code for the email content
– Click the icon
in the toolbar to be able to add variables
– Click the icon
to add the variable
– To add more variables click on the variable then select Insert
- Send test email
– After completing the email content, you can send test email by choosing sender, choose reply to, BCC, CC email addresses for each email.– From: Select the sender for the email
– To: Enter the address you want to send mail to.
– CC: Enter the email address you want to get CC to. (all receivers can know who receive your emails. Be careful to use it to send email to your customers). Mail addresses are separated by a comma
– BCC: Enter the email address you want BCC to. Mail addresses are separated by a comma
– Reply To: Select the email address you want to receive reply from customers
– Subject: Enter Subject for the email. This field is required.
– Send Test:
After completing the information click Send Test and enter the email address you want to send toClick Send and check your email to view the real email look.
