How to Schedule to Send a Campaign


Picking the appropriate time for sending your campaign is an essential step. However, it doesn't mean that you have to wake up early in the morning just to hit the Send button. You can schedule the campaign in advance.

In fact, with AVADA, you can choose between Send Now or Schedule to send at a specific time.

Set up your default timezone

Before you schedule your campaign, make sure to verify the timezone in your AVADA account settings. To find the timezone field, from the dashboard, click the Settings section > General. You'll see the Default Timezone field right here.

Schedule to send a campaign

Step 1. Create a new campaign

Navigate the Campaigns section, create New Campaign.

Step 2. Choose the type of message you want to send

You can choose between an email campaign or SMS campaign.

Step 3. Head to the Ready section

Complete the setup for Template and Content. Click Next to access the last step Ready. Here, you'll see the When to send this newsletter section. Choose Schedule.

- Timezone. Choose the time zone you want to send your campaign.

You can choose a specific timezone, such as (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) or (GMT+5:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi.

If you choose Customer's timezone in the Timezone section, you'll send your campaign at the specified time in the recipient's time zone. For example, if you set the time to 10a.m, a recipient in San Francisco will be sent the campaign at 10a.m in San Francisco, while a recipient in Sydney will be sent the campaign at 10a.m in Sydney.

If AVADA is not sure of a recipient's timezone, the campaign will be sent based on the store time zone.

- Send at. Choose the exact date & time to send your campaign.

NOTE: The scheduling feature is only available in the Pro Plan.
