How to create Product Browse Abandonment workflow?

You want to send remind email to someone who has just viewed your product without adding anything to cart?
Product Abandoned (or Browse Abandonment) workflow is your solution. This article will guide you on how to set up this workflow properly.

Turn on Tracking store



To be able to use Product Abandoned automation workflow you first need to enable the Tracking Store feature for the app.

Set up Abandoned product workflow



This automation flows allows you to automatically send emails when customers view the product page without adding items to cart or it can combine more condition you set up.

1. Create Abandoned product email with available template

Step 1: Select Event

- From the Automation page click New workflow button
- At Event Type > select Abandoned product > then select workflow template Abandoned Product Reminder Product



Step 2: Edit workflow

- Click on the item and condition you want to edit and customize it in the respective right tab of each item
- Click Start event to be able to add and customize product and customer conditions



- Click Next button to continue after editing the workflow



Step 3: Ready

- Enter a name and add a description or tag for the workflow
- Click Launch button and select Go live or Keep as draft to finish



2. Blank template

Step 1: Select Event

- From the Automation page click New workflow button
- Here select Blank will display a popup to select the event and you need to select Abandoned Product and then click Next button to continue





Step 2: Edit workflow

- Click Start event to be able to add and customize product and customer conditions





- Add items and workflow by drag and drop at Workflow items
- Once added, you can edit items by clicking on the item and editing it in the tab on the right side of the screen



- Click Next button to continue after editing the workflow



Step 3: Ready

- Enter a name and add a description or tag for the workflow
- Click Launch button and select Go live or Keep as draft to finish



Set up View Page workflow



View Page Automation workflow allows you to automatically send emails when customers view specific page without doing further activities such as add to cart, checkout...there are many condition you can set up here.

1. Create View page workflow with template

Step 1: Select Event
- From the Automation page click New workflow button
- At Event Type select View Page then select workflow template View page Reminder



Step 2: Edit workflow
- Click on the item and condition you want to edit and customize it in the respective right tab of each item\
- Click Start event to be able to add and customize the conditions of the page URL and customer





- Click Next button to continue after editing the workflow



Step 3: Ready
- Enter a name and add a description or tag for the workflow\
- Click Launch button and select Go live or Keep as draft to finish



2. Blank template

Step 1: Select Event
- From the Automation page click New workflow button
- Here select Blank will display popup to select event and you need to select View page and then click Next button to continue




Step 2: Edit workflow

- Click Start event to be able to add and customize product and customer conditions





- Add items and workflow by drag and drop at Workflow items
- Once added, you can edit items by clicking on the item and editing it in the tab on the right side of the screen



- Click Next button to continue after editing the workflow



Step 3: Ready
