How to import contacts from OptiMonk to AVADA?

If you are migrating from another email marketing platform to AVADA, importing contacts is one of the important steps that should be done along the way.
In this article, we will guide you on how to bring over your contacts from OptiMonk to AVADA Email Marketing Automation

Step 1 : Create Private API Keys at OptiMonk

Login to your OptiMonk account > Settings > API Key and then copy the Key

Step 2: Connect to OptiMonk

Login to your account at AVADA Email Marketing > Integration > OptiMonk







Enter the copied key at step 1 and click Connect

Step 3: Settings and sync

Enable Tag all synced contacts with OptiMonk : Once this function is active, all imported contacts will be tagged with "OptiMonk" automatically. Thanks to this option, you can filter and segment OptiMonk contacts with ease



Select Sync contacts (Re-sync contacts) > Confirm > See all contacts in Audience page










You can check import activity status via Activities tab at the top right



To help you keep track of contact synchronization activites, we retrieve the Sync History with Date (the sync date) and No. of contact (number of contacts)

Step 4: Re-sync contacts to AVADA Email Marketing

If this is the second time you import contacts from OptiMonk to AVADA, please use Re- sync option. Please press Re-sync contacts button > Confirm > See all contacts and you will be directed to Audience page once the importing process finishes








If you want to stop connection to OptiMonk, please hit Disconnect > Confirm
