How to Insert a Product Block to Email
Overview
In AVADA, you can add product blocks to your email template directly on the app. Everything, including the product's image, price, description, and the link to purchase can be found in the email template.
Inserting a product block to an email is an excellent way to promote best-selling products, trending products, or special offers. By doing so, you can give your recipients a smooth experience viewing your emails, leading to a better conversion rate. Below is the guide to inserting a product block into your email template using AVADA.
Before you start
- The product block browser is available to users who have connected their Shopify or Magento E-commerce store using AVADA. If you have not connected your store to your AVADA account, please have a look at our articles to learn how to integrate with Shopify or Magento 2.
- You can add product blocks into the email template in both automation workflows and campaigns. They share the same email editor tool.

How to insert a product block
There are 2 main ways to insert a product block.
First of all, you create an automation workflow or campaign as usual. Read our guides on Automation and Campaigns to know how to get started.
1. Use the Product element in the left panel
During the email design step, you can use the left panel to insert a product block into your email template.
Click on the Product section in the left panel, you will see all the Product Grid available.
Drag and drop your favorite product block into the email template
You will see the product block in your email. Click on each element of the block and edit according to your own preferences. You are able to edit:
- Product list
- Product image
- Title of the product
- Link to your product
- Description
- Price
- Other elements for each product block
If you click the Browse product button, you will see all of your products to choose from. You can enter keywords to search for the desired products more quickly. For instance, if we choose the Adania Pant, the new product information is automatically updated.
NOTE: The Browse Product feature is available on the Pro/ Advanced plan only. If you are on the Free plan, you can manually add your product information.
On the right panel, you can quickly edit other information of the product when scrolling down, such as title, link, description, price label, and price. You can also click the Add Product button to add more products into your product block.
2. Use the Plus button inside the email template
When you hover over the top of an element inside the template, you can see the Plus button as the image below.
Choose the Product section. There are many options for you to choose from, so pick one that matches your style. The next steps are the same as the above method.
3. Insert dynamic blocks into your template
Another way to insert product blocks into your email template is by using dynamic blocks. This feature automatically displays products that meet certain criteria, but keep in mind that it is available from the Pro plan.
In the left panel, click Dynamic and drag and drop your preferred blocks into your email template.
With this element, you can choose to display products from three lists: Best Sellers, New Products, and Collections. You're also able to change the number of products to display as well as the columns to show. However, you won't be able to edit the information of products inside, because they will be rendered dynamically with the data captured at the time of sending.
NOTE: For each of the above methods, you're able to edit product blocks' style and palette to make it suitable for your brand style.
