How to Insert Personalized Info and Dynamic Variables into Email

Overview

When creating email templates in AVADA, there are a few different ways you can customize content for each recipient. You can include things like first name, shop address, and more to increase personalized experiences.

In our template editor, we support the ability to search for a specific variable without having to reference external documentation. So, in this guide, you will learn how to insert template variables into text blocks in AVADA.

Insert variables into text blocks

Step 1. Choose the position you want to add variables

In your automation workflow or campaign, open the template that you want to add variables. Here, click the text block you want to add variables. You will see the Content tab in the right panel.

For example, we are editing a template from the welcome workflow. We want to insert variables into the body text blocks. When we click the text, you can see the Content tab in the right panel as below.

Step 2: Insert variables

In the Content tab, click the position you want to insert variables. Then, choose the Variables icon, you will see a drop-down menu.

AVADA offers a number of variables for you to choose from, such as {{ customer_email }}, {{ shop_name }}, {{ unsubscribe_link }}, etc. Read our guide on AVADA Variable Syntax to know more.

For example, if we want to insert the {{ shop_website }} variable into the text block, we just choose the position we want to add, click the Variables icon, scroll down and click {{ shop_website }}.
