Set up Onboarding
Hi forks, if you have just installed AVADA Marketing Automation, you're properly in Onboarding now. There are some steps to help you quick setup your account and basic functions.
Step 1. Select channel you want to set up
You can select to set up Email, SMS or both in one automation workflow.
Step 2. Set up Email (if you choose Email channel)
Abandoned Cart Email
Abandoned Cart Email allow to send remind email to customers who added items to cart and went to checkout page without complete their purchase.
- Enable email: Click toggle button to enable
- Default Sender: Default according to the email set up in your store
- Sender name: Enter and edit the sender name you want to display sending mail
- Logo: Upload image store logo. This logo will be used as a logo in emails
- Button Background Color: Choose the background color for the button in the email
- Button Text Color: Select the text color you want to display on the button in the email
- Shop name: Enter and edit store name
- Address: Enter and edit the address for the store
- DISCOUNT CODE: Adjust the drag bar to select the desired discount. Discount code will be automatically generated when all onboarding is completed. You can go to App > Settings > Coupons to view and edit coupons or edit discounts at shopify store
Welcome Email
Welcome email allow to send emails to new subscribers on your websites
To edit welcome email click option as shown below:
Once selected, you can continue to edit the email similar to Abandoned Cart Email
After editing all the email content, press Setup SMS at the bottom of the page to move to the next setting step
Step 3. Set up SMS (If you choose SMS channel)
Similar to email, SMS in Onboarding also allow you to set up Abandoned Cart And Welcome SMS.
- Click the BRAND PERSONALITY options to choose the SMS style that suits your brand
- Shop name: Enter and adjust the content Shop name you want to display in SMS
- Note that for stores in the US/CA, you have option to upload image/GIF (MMS)
- DISCOUNT CODE: Adjust the drag bar to select the desired discount. After completing the onboarding, it will also automatically generate a coupon code
- After completing, click Setup Form at the bottom of the page to continue setting up the next steps
Step 4: Form Settings
Forms or Sign-up forms allows you to collect subscribers via your email/sms channels.
- RECOMMENDED TEMPLATES: click to select a template
- Image: Click Remove to remove the image from the popup, Click and upload the image to add an image for the popup
- Text Color: Select the text color for the popup
- Background Color: Select the background color for the popup
- Button Text Color: Select the text color of the button
- Button Background Color: Choose the Background color for the button
- Heading: Enter and edit the Heading content of the form
- Body Text: Enter and edit the body content of the form
- Button Content: Enter and edit the text you want to display on the button
- Input placeholder: Enter and edit placeholder
- After completing the settings for the form, at the bottom of the page, click Skip, the form will be created and will not be enabled, click Enable Form, the form will be created and enabled.
Step 5: Set up Checkout checklist
This step will guide you to configure some settings in your Checkout page to easily collect customers' email/sms and use them to follow up activities.
- Once done, press I've set already
Step 6: Review your setup
After completing the settings, the app will automatically create workflows and forms according to the settings. To view and edit the automation workflow, go to Automation > Open the workflow you want to edit
To view and edit the newly created form, go to Forms
